Everything you need to know about the DevSecOps bootcamp
No, please don't worry. The bootcamp is designed for complete beginners and also for those with some technical knowledge. You will be taught the whole curriculum from the beginning but the course focuses on the key new cyber security skills in DevSecOps.
The live bootcamp includes 6 weeks of live lectures on Zoom with Charlie — this is an opportunity to have lots of live time with an expert and to ask as many questions as you like. The self-paced bootcamp includes all the same content, but it's made up of recorded videos with Charlie. You can still send him your homework for review and message him directly.
There are many variables to this. If you get the right skills and certifications, projects and come across well in interviews, companies will pay what is required to secure you. You can expect between £40k-£65k depending on experience. It is common for DevSecOps engineers to easily hit £100k salaries within two years — I have seen this many times and provided these salaries to my own engineers.
Other live instructor-led cyber bootcamps cost between £4,000 and £8,000. I enjoy teaching and my mission is to provide a DevSecOps workforce that can protect companies and to break the barriers to learning.
